Makeup Trends of the 60s
Clear Skin Minerals- Natural Organic Makeup
In the 1960's, women wore two main styles when it came to makeup.
Either they "mirrored" Jackie Kennedy at the time with a more conservative, polished and classy look or went totally modified using lots of eye shadow colors (mostly in blues and greens) and highlighted the eyes and eye lashes.
Some would use blush to add a little color to the cheeks but lips were purposely left without color.
Women would even cover their lips with the same foundation color (which is good practice anyway, in order to properly prime your lipstick).
Heavy upper eye liner and a tube of mascara was really, all they needed.
